I've always been less than impressed with the Grammy awards. Therefore, last year I saw fit to hold my own awards show via my Facebook page. I thoroughly enjoyed it, so I have decided to make it an annual thing. And now I even have this awesome music blog to put it on!
*Please note, these awards are not limited to music produced in 2010. They include everything I have discovered from Februaryish of last year until Februaryish of this year. Because it's my awards show, and I can do what I want!*

The Epilogues
I went to their (sold out) show last Saturday at the Gothic. It was one of the best shows I've been to in a long time. Definitely worth my $8. Check back later this week for a review of that show and more information on the band.

Rock & Roll Biography of the Year
Life by Keith Richards. This amused me to no end. I highly recommend the audio book version. It's narrated in turns by Johnny Depp, Joe Hurley, and Mr. Richards himself.
Show of the Year
Blue October at the Boulder Theater. Awesome show, awesome set list, and awesome people to watch it with.
Album of the Year
Brothers by The Black Keys
2010 was the year I fell in love with The Black Keys (see previous post entitled "The Black Keys"). This album is pure excellence.
